Yes, you read that right. We will go to Piirissaar by bicycle, specifically fat-wheeled bicycles designed for riding in snow and ice across the ice of Lake Lämmijärv. You can choose either an electric or a regular fatbike bike, depending on your fitness level. We will cover about 20+ km at a leisurely pace, and if you have more strength and will at the end, we can also complete a longer arc. There will be an instruction on how to navigate safely on the ice, the group will be accompanied by a hiking guide. We will set off on the ice from Laaksaare harbor and head towards Piirissaar. On Piirissaar, we will get to know the three villages on the island - Piiri, Saare and Tooni. We will talk about the history, nature and life of Piirissaar. We will enjoy the company, exercise in the fresh air, annoy fishermen and patrol the Estonian-Russian border.
